Evaluating the sustainability of mineral water consumption using multi‐scale hydrogeophysics in Caxambu, Brazil

Abstract A better understanding of the near‐surface aquifer system of the Caxambu Water Park, located in the Minas Gerais State, Brazil, has been achieved. The study aimed to identify groundwater reservoirs and flow patterns and contribute to the hydrogeological conceptual model using a multi‐scale geophysical approach.

ABSTRACT Post‐translational modifications (PTMs) play a critical role in regulating the transcriptional activity of PPARγ, a nuclear receptor central to glucose and lipid homeostasis. Among these, lysine acetylation at K268 and K293 and phosphorylation at S273 are particularly relevant to insulin sensitivity.

A composite‐loss graph neural network for the multivariate post‐processing of ensemble weather forecasts

The dual graph neural network (dualGNN), trained with a composite loss combining the energy score (ES) and variogram score (VS), consistently outperformed models optimized solely for ES or the continuous ranked probability score in the multivariate setting, as well as empirical copula approaches.

COBASE: A new copula‐based shuffling method for ensemble weather forecast postprocessing

We propose COBASE, a novel copula‐based postprocessing methododology that combines the strengths of multivariate parametric correction with non‐parametric rank‐based approaches. We consider two case studies for multi‐site temperature in Austria and multi‐site temperature and dew‐point temperature in the Netherlands.

Abstract This narrative review celebrates Europe's contribution to the current knowledge on systemically administered antimicrobials in periodontal treatment.
