Engineering a Virus‐Derived X Family DNA Polymerase FvPolX for de novo DNA Synthesis
Advanced Science, EarlyView.In this study, a Faustovirus‐derived polymerase (FvPolX) is engineered based on structural and sequence analysis of PolX enzymes. The optimal mutants demonstrate substantially enhanced catalytic activity toward dNTPs and 3′‐ONH2‐dNTPs compared to the wild‐type enzyme.
