Types and abundance of macro and micro-marine debris at Sebatik Island, Tawau, Sabah [PDF]
The amount of marine debris is increasing worldwide and has become a matter of serious concern. It is important to identify the nature of debris to understand the sources and to devise practically feasible methods for managing this problem.

On the basis of core and log data, a Bayesian‐Optimized Random Forest model achieved 92.76% accuracy in classifying tight sandstone reservoirs. A gray relational analysis‐derived evaluation index shows > 80% consistency with actual gas zones. ABSTRACT Tight sandstone gas (TSG), an unconventional oil–gas resource, has heterogeneous reservoirs ...

ABSTRACT Currently, small‐molecular‐weight collagen peptides are a research hotspot in functional factor development due to their high bioavailability and diverse bioactivities. In this study, gelatin was extracted from tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) scales by hot water extraction, followed by pepsin hydrolysis and ultrafiltration to obtain the < 3 ...

We demonstrated that Awaous tajasica performs facultative air breathing under experimental conditions of dissolved oxygen limitation, retaining air bubbles in the buccal cavity during gill ventilation. Morpho‐functional evidence indicates the use of atmospheric oxygen as a respiratory support under conditions of low water oxygenation.
