Education and Training on Causal Factors of Marine Collisions
2015 7th International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering & Technology (ICETET), 2015According to the Japan Coast Guard, marine accidents involving over 2,000 vessels have occurred annually, and approximately 30% of these are collision accidents. Presumably, approximately 92% of collision accidents' causes are human factors. We classified the causal factor termed 'gprimary cause by human error' into ten items.
