Experimental Investigation on Spirogyra Biodiesel With Di‐Tert‐Butyl Peroxide as a Cetane Booster

Engine tested with third‐generation biodiesel. Cetane improver di‐tert‐butyl peroxide was added to improve combustion. The emissions analysis indicated a 53.8% CO decrease and a 9.1% NO rise to 24.9%. Competition was added as a stimulus for interaction between the students. A virtual company called CaroTech employed the students for 2 weeks.
