Detailed Early Life History of the Giant Muricid Snail Chicoreus ramosus in the Southern China Sea
Tropical marine life is highly diverse, but the development and utilization of many species remain insufficient. The giant muricid snail Chicoreus ramosus, notable for its large size and high‐quality meat, holds significant potential for aquaculture. Previous descriptions of its seedling production were incomplete and sometimes inaccurate.

Diversity and function of fluorescent molecules in marine animals
ABSTRACT Fluorescence in marine animals has mainly been studied in Cnidaria but is found in many different phyla such as Annelida, Crustacea, Mollusca, and Chordata. While many fluorescent proteins and molecules have been identified, very little information is available about the biological functions of fluorescence.

First record of long-tailed pelagic sea slug Stylocheilus longicauda (Gastropoda: Opisthobranchia) from southwest coast of India [PDF]
The long-tailed sea slug Stylocheilus longicauda was recorded for the first time from southwest coast of India. A single specimen measuring a total length of 70.51mm was collected from a floating bottle, along with bunch of goose-neck barnacles from ...

Abstract We describe a high‐diversity silicified assemblage of marine molluscs (Pelsa‐Vazzoler Lagerstätte) from the upper Ladinian of the Agordo Dolomites (northeastern Italy). New data on the Triassic rebound, after the end‐Permian mass extinction, constrain it to an interval of relatively stable climatic conditions.

The Continuing Debate on Deep Molluscan Phylogeny: Evidence for Serialia (Mollusca, Monoplacophora + Polyplacophora) [PDF]
Molluscs are a diverse animal phylum with a formidable fossil record. Although there is little doubt about the monophyly of the eight extant classes, relationships between these groups are controversial.

Resource level modifies heatwave responses in the freshwater snail Lymnaea stagnalis
Abstract Predicting climate change‐mediated environmental effects on organisms is difficult because their direction and strength may depend on multiple ecological factors that vary in nature. This is because the effects of environmental factors often interact.
