Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Plastic Litter Pollution in the Marine Environment.
The distribution and abundance of plastic litter, especially resin pellets, were investigated. Resin pellets are widespread in the coastal waters and beaches of Japan. Such pellets that are the raw materials of plastic products are important marine pollutants for many species of marine life such as ingestion by seabirds and fishes.
