Engineering a Virus‐Derived X Family DNA Polymerase FvPolX for de novo DNA Synthesis
Advanced Science, EarlyView.In this study, a Faustovirus‐derived polymerase (FvPolX) is engineered based on structural and sequence analysis of PolX enzymes. The optimal mutants demonstrate substantially enhanced catalytic activity toward dNTPs and 3′‐ONH2‐dNTPs compared to the wild‐type enzyme.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.This study demonstrates significantly reduced Lkb1 expression in CD11c+ cells in chronic pancreatitis (CP) patients and animal models. Lkb1 deletion enhances CD11c+CD206+ macrophage infiltration and reprograms pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs) via OSM signaling.
