ACE‐mediated Glycosylation Stabilizes PSAP To Promote GPR37‐dependent Macrophage‐Nucleus Pulposus Cells Crosstalk and TGFβ Signaling in Alleviating Intervertebral Disc Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ACE can modulate the CBL‐mediated K48 ubiquitination degradation of PSAP by altering its glycosylation levels in NP cells. As a result, NP cells secrete PSAP, which interacts with GPR37 on macrophage surfaces, facilitating their polarization toward the M2 phenotype. These M2 macrophages subsequently secrete TGFβ, which exerts feedback effects on the NP

Upcycling Spent Graphite Anodes into Bifunctional Photothermal Catalysts for Efficient PET Chemical Recycling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Waste graphite anodes from spent lithium‐ion batteries serve as a sustainable lithium source for synthesizing lithium ethylene glycolate. This reactive species efficiently catalyzes PET depolymerization under mild conditions, achieving rapid and selective monomer recovery.

A Modern Roman‐Inspired Concrete with Daytime Radiative Cooling Capacity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Coolcrete, inspired by ancient Roman concrete, is a new cementitious material with photonic properties enabling passive daytime radiative cooling. Made from quicklime and zeolites, it reduces cooling energy demand, lowers CO2 emissions, and may eliminate urban heat islands.
