Vat Photopolymerization of High Molecular Weight Polymer Latexes with Pseudothermoplastic Properties for Recyclability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A photocurable latex system enables high‐resolution vat photopolymerization of water‐dispersed thermoplastics, yielding pseudothermoplastic materials with recyclability. The formulation permits precise control over mechanical properties and supports reprocessing through conventional and extrusion‐based methods. Compatibility with two‐photon 3D printing

Capacity utilization dynamics and market power [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
In an intertemporal general equilibrium model with imperfect competition, we settle a relationship between factor utilization and markups, via the effect of capacity utilization rate changes on firms' market power when the demand for goods is uncertain ...

Ultrasoft Iontronics: Stretchable Diodes Enabled by Ionically Conductive Bottlebrush Elastomers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a solvent‐free, ultrasoft, and stretchable ionic diode based on oppositely charged bottlebrush elastomers (BBEs). The BBE diode exhibits an ultralow Young's modulus (<23 kPa), a high rectification ratio of 46, and stretchability over 400%.

Market Power and Inflation [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Finance Discussion Papers, 2003
This paper examines the extent to which a decline in market power could have contributed to the general decline in inflation rates experienced in developed countries during the 1990s.

Unassisted Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Production Coupled with Selective Glucose Oxidation Using Metal Halide Perovskite Photoanodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A metal halide perovskite‐based photoanode integrated with a CoNiFe layered double hydroxide (LDH) cocatalyst is reported for selective glucose oxidation reaction (GOR), achieving simultaneous and unassisted photoelectrochemical hydrogen production. This system delivers high photocurrent density, excellent Faradaic efficiency of GOR, and strong techno ...

Modeling the residential electricity consumption within a restructured power market [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Energy Efficiency, Vol 2, Jun 2018, 2018
The United States' power market is featured by the lack of judicial power at the federal level. The market thus provides a unique testing environment for the market organization structure. At the same time, the econometric modeling and forecasting of electricity market consumption become more challenging.

Market power Europe [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of European Public Policy, 2012
While the identity of the European Union (EU) may have normative and/or other characteristics, it is fundamentally a large single market with significant institutional features and competing interest groups. Given these central characteristics, the EU may be best understood as a market power Europe that exercises its power through the externalization ...

Morphometric‐Assisted Prediction of Developmental Toxicity Using Stem Cell‐Based Embryo Models in Microwells

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This proof‐of‐concept study involves high‐throughput teratogenicity screening of compounds using XEn/EpiCs, a 3D stem cell‐based embryo model, within microwells. The term ‘morphotoxicity’ is introduced to complement traditional cytotoxicity assays through automated feature extraction and machine‐learning‐assisted classification of morphologies.

Pricing in non-convex markets with quadratic deliverability costs [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
The problem of obtaining market-clearing prices for markets with non-convexities has been widely studied in the literature. This is particularly the case in electricity markets, where worldwide deregulation leads to markets in which non-convexities arise from the decisions of market operators regarding which generators are committed to provide ...
