Costs of managing adverse reactions to hexavalent vaccines: Comparison of DT3aP-HBV-IPV/Hib and DT2aP-HBV-IPV-Hib in France and Spain

open access: yesHuman Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics
Hexavalent vaccines DT3aP-HBV-IPV/Hib and DT2aP-HBV-IPV-Hib differ in composition and reactogenicity. Systematic reviews of randomized clinical trials of these vaccines showed that DT3aP-HBV-IPV/Hib causes fewer adverse reactions (ARs) than DT2aP-HBV-IPV-

Recent Advances in Ferrite‐Based Materials for Biomedical Applications: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ferrite nanoplatforms are presented as tunable biomedical materials in which synthesis control, cation engineering, defect/morphology regulation, and surface functionalization govern structure–property–bioactivity relationships. These design strategies enable multifunctional applications including MRI contrast, magnetic hyperthermia, targeted drug ...

High‐Performance Bio‐Glue From the Berries of a Parasitic Plant

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a fully bio‐based adhesive derived primarily from a (poly)saccharide extract obtained from the berries of the hemi‐parasitic plant mistletoe (Viscum album), supplemented with tannic and malic acid without any further chemical functionalization.

From Payload‐First Toward Dual‐Mechanism Antibody–Drug Conjugates

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Conjugation converts potent antibodies into underexposed carriers. This perspective defines the antibody exposure deficit and maps a mechanism‐first design space from payload‐first to antibody‐first ADC architectures, integrating DAR, linker chemistry, and Fc engineering to guide rational design of constructs that balance targeted cytotoxicity with ...
