Let \(K\) be a convex compact subset of \({\mathbb R}^{n} \) with nonempty interior. A positive linear operator \(T:C(K)\to C(K)\) is called a Markov operator if \(T(1)=1\). Abstract Markov Property and Local Operators
Generalized random fields with certain Markov properties are constructed. To unify the different approaches to the notions of Markov property, the author defines a general set-up, including different index sets, and a suitable Markov property called ``abstract'' Markov property.
