Denoising of ASL Data Using Deep Learning Priors Generated From Distribution Remapping
ABSTRACT Purpose To develop an effective deep learning (DL)–based method to denoise arterial spin labeling (ASL) data. Methods Conventional DL–based ASL denoising methods often suffer from overfitting and poor generalization when training data are limited.

Abstract When deploying mobile robots in real‐world scenarios, such as airports, train stations, hospitals, and schools, collisions with pedestrians are intolerable and catastrophic. Motion safety becomes one of the most fundamental requirements for mobile robots.

Coalescence time and second largest eigenvalue modulus in the monotone reversible case [PDF]
If T is the coalescence time of the Propp and Wilson [15], perfect simulation algorithm, the aim of this paper is to show that T depends on the second largest eigenvalue modulus of the transition matrix of the underlying Markov chain.

A Novel Two‐Stage Flexible Flow Shop Batch Scheduling Model for Grinding Workshops
ABSTRACT The growing need for data storage in data centers has increased the demand for mechanical hard disks due to their low cost and high reliability. Aluminum substrates are the most popular base plates for mechanical hard disks because of their high hardness and low cost.

Both density‐ and frequency‐dependent effects determine plant growth in a dune heath ecosystem
We tested the hypothesis that both density‐ and frequency‐dependent interactions play important roles in determining plant growth in a dune heath ecosystem at several levels of available nitrogen. Plant growth was measured using the pin‐point method in a five‐block experiment with four nitrogen levels.
