Buon compleanno, Mars Express!

2013

The terminator and nightside ionosphere of Mars as seen by Mars Express MaRS radio science

Fig. 1:. 7 MaRS terminator/nightside electron density profiles observed between August and September 2005. All profiles have an offset of 3·1010 m−3 to the neighbouring profiles. The vertical gray line indicates zero electron density for each profile.

Northern Seasonal Condensates on Mars by OMEGA/Mars Express

2005
The northern seasonal condensates on Mars have been monitored by the OMEGA imaging spectrometer (Mars Express) from Ls 330° to 90°. We report the evolution of their physical state (sublimation sequence of CO2 ice, then H2O ice), their spatial distribution and their temporal evolution.

Mars Express accarezza Phobos

2016

MARSIS AN EXPERIMENT OF MARS EXPRESS

2005
The second of June 2003 a European space probe ,called Mars Express was launched to Mars. This has been the first European mission to the red Planet and for the first time in only about three years a complex spacecraft was designed built and launched. Among the eight experiments MARSIS is one of the most important if not the most important.

Recession of the Northern Seasonal Condensates on Mars by OMEGA/Mars Express

2006
The north seasonal condensates on Mars have been monitored by the OMEGA imaging spectrometer (Mars Express) during 2 martian years. We report on the temporal evolution of their physical state (sublimation sequence of CO2 and H2O ices) and composition.
