A fully wearable system enables real‐time, dynamic, and accurate monitoring of Young's modulus in multilayer tissues containing deep muscle. It demonstrates high accuracy and robustness across simulations, benchtop validations, and human testing. It quantifies edema severity and tracks muscle stiffness during rest, loaded elbow flexion, rope skipping ...

Simultaneous Dual‐Plasticity Organic Synaptic Transistor for Neuromorphic Computing
This study presents a DNTT‐based organic field‐effect transistor that demonstrates synaptic plasticity under optical stimulation. The device simultaneously implements both short‐term and long‐term plasticity mechanisms, enabling simultaneous working memory and persistent information storage functions, with enhancement exceeding 10 000%.

Transport Resistance Dominates the Fill Factor Losses in Record Organic Solar Cells
Organic photovoltaics are a promising solar cell technology, but even the record devices with 20% efficiency have significant fill factor losses due to low active layer conductivities. In this Perspective, the authors describe the origin of these losses, discuss experimental methods for their quantification, and explain how to minimize them to optimize

All Recent Mars Landers Have Landed Downrange - Are Mars Atmosphere Models Mis-Predicting Density? [PDF]
All recent Mars landers (Mars Pathfinder, the two Mars Exploration Rovers Spirit and Opportunity, and the Mars Phoenix Lander) have landed further downrange than their pre-entry predictions.

Quantifying the land‐use change due to soybean‐based biodiesel in the United States
Abstract We quantify the impact of soybean oil‐based biodiesel production on US cropland, using a method that accounts for the intermediate effect of soybean crushing facilities. Based on U.S. Environmental Protection Agency data for biodiesel production and proprietary data for soybean crushing facilities over 2011–2020, we find that the elasticities ...

Evaluating Feral Swine Eradication and Control Pilot Program Impact on Crop Indemnities
ABSTRACT The 2018 Farm Bill established the Feral Swine Eradication and Control Pilot Program (FSCP), which was focused on removing feral hogs and restoring damaged property. We conduct a quasi‐experimental analysis of FSCP on crop damage using crop insurance data and a staggered difference‐in‐difference model.
