Journal of Anatomy, EarlyView.Layer‐by‐layer passive ex vivo assessment of flexion–extension‐dominant limb joint ROM across rabbit, pudu deer, chilla fox and pig revealed joint‐, tissue‐ and taxon‐specific responses to progressive tissue removal. Medical and Veterinary Entomology, EarlyView.This study characterizes the bacteriome of Polygenis (Polygenis) bohlsi bohlsi fleas collected from free‐living Thrichomys fosteri in the Pantanal region of Brazil. The bacterial microbiota associated with male fleas exhibited greater phylogenetic diversity, and the overall community structure differed between the flea sexes.
