Dynamic recrystallization behavior of AISI 422 stainless steel during hot deformation processes [PDF]
In this work, hot compression tests were performed to investigate the dynamic recrystallization (DRX) process of a martensitic stainless steel (AISI 422) at temperatures of 950, 1000, 1050, 1100 and 1150 °C and strain rates of 0.01, 0.1 and 1 s−1.

Damage Behavior of Ni‐B and Ni‐B‐TiO2 Coatings on AISI P20 Steel Under Indentation and Bending
ABSTRACT This study examines the influence of TiO2 nanoparticles on the structure, mechanical properties, and fracture behavior of Ni‐B coatings applied to heat‐treated AISI P20 steel. Mechanical performance was assessed through indentation and step‐by‐step three‐point bending tests on both coated and uncoated substrates.

Understanding the interaction between a steel microstructure and hydrogen [PDF]
The present work provides an overview of the work on the interaction between hydrogen (H) and the steel’s microstructure. Different techniques are used to evaluate the H-induced damage phenomena. The impact of H charging on multiphase high-strength

Grinding chips of high‐alloyed steel are prepared to be admixed to a starting powder mixture for laser powder bed fusion. A three‐stage preparation is performed, including washing in acetone, magnetic separation, and ball milling. The addition of 30% of grinding chips to the powder mixture allows the fabrication of dense samples.
