On the Hysteresis in Martensitic Transformations
2003The paper proposes an explanation of the hysteresis in shape memory alloys using energy minimization in nonlinear elasticity and the entropy criterion. The stored energy has two wells describing the two phases. At elongations from some interval, the minimum energy is realized on two-phase mixtures.

Martensitic and “normal” transformations
Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics, 2009An analysis of the experimental data shows that various structural kinetic forms of polymorphic transformations (from low-temperature athermal martensitic to high-temperature thermally activated “normal”) are due to the superposition of athermal lattice rearrangement (athermal martensitic transformation) and relaxation processes.
