Mitochondrial genome variation in domesticated sable (Martes zibellina)
Russian Journal of Genetics, 2012The first comparison of mitochondrial variations in sables from captive and natural populations of the Urals, Central Siberia, Yakutia, Kamchatka, and Japan has been performed. The object of comparative analysis was a 427-bp 5' fragment of the mitochondrial control region, including the D-loop.

The complete mitochondrial genome of sable,Martes zibellina
Mitochondrial DNA, 2012The complete mitogenome sequence of the Sable (NC_011579) was determined using long PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). The genome was 16,523 bp in length and contained 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes and 1 control region. The gene composition and order of which was similar to most other mammals.

A mitogenomic phylogeny and genetic history of sable (Martes zibellina)
Gene, 2014We assessed phylogeny of sable (Martes zibellina, Linnaeus, 1758) by sequence analysis of nearly complete, new mitochondrial genomes in 36 specimens from different localities in northern Eurasia (Primorye, Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk regions, the Kamchatka Peninsula, the Kuril Islands and the Urals). Phylogenetic analysis of mtDNA sequences demonstrates

A PCR-RFLP-based method to distinguish sable (Martes zibellina) and pine marten (Martes martes)
Acta Theriologica, 2011Species identification is an important issue in conservation and a particular focus for wildlife forensics. Molecular biological methods retain a unique power to differentiate between difficult samples that lack other identifiable characteristics. The pine marten (Martes martes) and sable (Martes zibellina) are closely related species with very similar

О СОВЕРШЕНСТВОВАНИИ ГОНА СОБОЛЕЙ (MARTES ZIBELLINA L.)
