Maternal glucocorticoids have persistent effects on offspring social phenotype irrespective of opportunity for social buffering

open access: yesJournal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.
This study tests whether early‐life maternal association buffers offspring from the effects of prenatal stress in a facultatively social lizard. Demographic buffering in natural populations: A multi‐level perspective

open access: yesJournal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.
We introduce a multi‐level framework that unites stochastic elasticities with nonlinear selection to test demographic buffering. While prior research emphasizes fandom, soft power or media strategies, this research highlights the role of urban infrastructure in cultural globalization.
