Does Rotation Eliminate Masked Priming Effects for Japanese Kanji Words?
In this study, we examined whether a masked repetition priming effect is observed for rotated primes using Japanese kanji ...

The central role of both electronically interacting and noninteracting chromophores in the photogeneration of charges has been unambiguously identified by ultrafast pump‐probe spectroscopy in thin films of the prototypical non‐fullerene acceptor Y6. Onsager‐like autoionization from higher‐energy excitations on Y6 aggregates is found to control polaron ...

Unlocking Terahertz Steganography: Authentication of Hidden Images in Flexible Media
Hidden information in multilayered devices, such as steganographic portraits, is detected and authenticated using reflection‐mode terahertz time‐domain imaging. Image reconstruction relies on a dedicated figure‐of‐merit obtained by integrating the signal intensity over the time‐window associated with the reflection from the metallic mirror backing the ...

Hierarchically Wrinkled Silver Ink as a Platform for Fully Integrated Stretchable Electronic Systems
Silver Hierarchical Responsive ink (SHRink), a universal approach for the fabrication of highly stretchable interconnects, wirings, and skin‐interfaced electrodes, is realized through low‐cost, scalable spray‐printing and transfer‐printing. The SHRink demonstrates high electrical conductivity (1.2E04 S cm−1) and large stretchability (235% max fracture ...

Single‐filament material extrusion enables spatial stiffness programming through locally controlled thermal foaming of TPU. A data‐driven G‐code framework tunes porosity from 15.7% to 40.7% and hardness from 90 to 63 Shore A within and across layers. Monolithic hands and soft actuators consequently achieve distinct programmed motions without material ...

Transparent, electrically conductive In–Zn–O thin films are solution‐processed by spin coating, inkjet printing, and, as demonstrated here for the first time, screen printing. The chosen deposition technique determines the solution composition, which in turn governs the resulting microstructure and optoelectronic performance.

fpp2: A masked form priming mega-experiment
This experiment is a follow-up to the Form Priming Project (FPP; Adelman et al., 2014). In that experiment we adopted a “Many Labs” approach to conduct a single large masked priming experiment with 28 prime conditions and over 1000 participants.

Dynamic Fluorescence Modulation via Light‐Driven Competitive Protonation
A two‐component molecular system demonstrates reversible, light‐driven fluorescence write–erase cycling and thermal imaging. Illumination of a merocyanine photoacid transfers a proton to a highly efficient fluorescent pyridinium dye, switching its emission color; thermal relaxation reverses the process in the dark.

Strong Enhancement of Er3+ Emission at Room Temperature in Si3N4 Metasurfaces
Erbium‐doped SiN metasurfaces are engineered to support Mie resonances at 1.55μm$1.55\text{}\mathrm{\mu}\mathrm{m}$, enhancing the local density of optical states and accelerating spontaneous emission. By optimizing nanocylinder radius and implantation depth, room‐temperature PL is increased about 18‐fold, while lifetime shortens by nearly an order of ...

Multilevel Embedding and Dropout for Improved 3D Object Detection in Autonomous Driving Systems
A plug‐in framework for RoI‐based 3D object detectors exploits previously untapped multi‐level information within RoI features. Its novel multi‐level embedding and dropout strategy enables the detection head to generate predictions at different feature levels.
