Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Mass loss from metal-poor stars [PDF]
1. IntroductionIt is essential to consider the effect of mass loss to understand the distribution of supergiant stars in the HR diagram. This research concerns the evolution of massive stars with X=0.700 and Z=0.001 during the phases up to central Heexhaustion with the inclusion of mass loss.

A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Dynamical Interactions and Mass Loss within the Uranian System
The origin and evolution of planetary rings and moons remains an active area of study, particularly as they relate to the impact history and volatile inventory of the outer solar system.

A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

We develop a Python-based state-of-the-art sub-Neptune evolution model that incorporates both the post-formation boil-off at young ages ≤1 Myr and long-lived core-powered mass loss (∼Gyr) from interior cooling.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Stikine Icefield Mass Loss Between 2000 and 2013/2014
We calculate thinning rates ( frac dh dt ) at the 5,800kmtextsuperscript 2 Stikine Icefield of southeast Alaska fromstacked digital elevation models (DEMs) acquired between 2000 and2013/2014, and glacier velocities between 1985 and 2014 from ...
