Designing the Infographic as an Advertisement in Awareness Campaign: The Egyptian MoHP Campaign as a Model

open access: yesJournal of Architecture, Art & Humanistic Science, 2022
The world in year 2020 suffers from a new virus Covid-19 and most of audiences get their knowledge about this virus, how to deal with and how to protect themselves from it from media and through awareness campaigns. Visualizing information is more easily

A Semantic Preprocessing Framework for Breaking News Detection to Support Future Drone Journalism Services

open access: yesFuture Internet, 2022
Nowadays, news coverage implies the existence of video footage and sound, from which arises the need for fast reflexes by media organizations. Social media and mobile journalists assist in fulfilling this requirement, but quick on-site presence is not ...

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Microbiome−host proteostasis crosstalk—An emerging perspective on mechanisms and interventions toward healthy longevity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Strategic exploration of the COVID-19 prevention campaign message: based on South Koreans’ perception type

open access: yesBMC Public Health, 2022
Background Many questions have been raised in the ongoing battle against COVID-19: How does the public perceive the COVID-19 prevention campaign as a member of the community?; What made the perception of the experts and the public on COVID-19 change from

DESIGNING ADVERGAMES FOR AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS: AN ENGAGING TOOL

open access: yesJournal of Architecture, Art & Humanistic Science, 2021
Awareness campaigns lack the interactivity and engagement factors, especially when the target audience are children. Gaming provides an engagement tool that may help change attitudes, behaviors and ideas of the audience.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
