Unique neutrino mass operator at any mass dimension [PDF]
When the standard model is viewed as a low energy effective theory, the neutrinos can obtain mass from higher dimensional operators. It has been known for long that such an operator first appears at mass dimension five and that it is unique. Here we show that the effective neutrino mass operator at every higher dimension is unique.

Renormalization of the neutrino mass operator [PDF]
A small neutrino Majorana mass can arise in the Standard Model as an effective dimension 5 operator. We calculate the renormalization of this operator in the minimal Standard Model and in its two-Higgs-doublet and supersymmetric extensions. Renormalization from the scale of lepton number violation (e.g., the Planck scale or a GUT scale) to the weak ...

Mass and Extremals Associated with the Hardy–Schrödinger Operator on Hyperbolic Space
We consider the Hardy–Schrödinger operator Lγ:=-Δ𝔹n-γV2{L_{\gamma}:=-\Delta_{\mathbb{B}^{n}}-\gamma{V_{2}}} on the Poincaré ball model of the hyperbolic space 𝔹n{\mathbb{B}^{n}} (n≥3{n\geq 3}).

How aerosol size matters in aerosol optical depth (AOD) assimilation and the optimization using the Ångström exponent [PDF]
Satellite-based aerosol optical depth (AOD) has gained popularity as a powerful data source for calibrating aerosol models and correcting model errors through data assimilation.

Within unitary transformed Hamiltonian of Fröhlich type, using the Green's functions method, exact renormalized energy spectrum of quasiparticle strongly interacting with two-mode polarization phonons is obtained at T=0 K in a model of the system with ...

One of the ongoing tasks in space structure testing is the vibration test, in which a given structure is mounted onto a shaker and excited by a certain input load on a given frequency range, in order to reproduce the rigor of launch.

Mass Operator and Dynamical Implementation of Mass Superselection Rule [PDF]
We start reviewing Giulini's dynamical approach to Bargmann superselection rule proposing some improvements. We discuss some general features of the central extensions of the Galileian group used in Giulini's programme, focussing on the interplay of classical and quantum picture, without making any particular choice for the multipliers.

Radiative neutrino mass model from a mass dimension-11 ∆L = 2 effective operator
We present the first detailed phenomenological analysis of a radiative Majorana neutrino mass model constructed from opening up a ∆L = 2 mass-dimension-11 effective operator constructed out of standard model fields.

A liver mass post-Fontan operation [PDF]
### Learning Point for Clinicians This case report raises awareness of a rare devastating complication of congenital heart diseases that require correction via the “Fontan” operation. In these patients, liver cirrhosis and its complications are now being recognised including hepatocellular carcinoma.
