Clinical Validation of Plasma p‐217tau in Neurological Diseases

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma p‐217tau is a minimally invasive but specific biomarker for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, its disease specificity remains to be clinically evaluated. We validated the reliability of the p‐217tau biomarker in 12 other neurological diseases.

Quantum corrections to the effective neutrino mass operator in 5D MSSM

open access: yes, 2007
30 pages, 10 figures - TheorieInternational audienceWe discuss in detail a five-dimensional Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model compactified on S^1/Z_2 extended by the effective Majorana neutrino mass operator. We study the evolution of neutrino masses

Mathematical Analysis of a Generalized Chiral Quark Soliton Model

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2006
A generalized version of the so-called chiral quark soliton model (CQSM) in nuclear physics is introduced. The Hamiltonian of the generalized CQSM is given by a Dirac type operator with a mass term being an operator-valued function.

Predictive Ability of Plasma p‐tau217 for β‐Amyloid Status: A Prospective Multicenter Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma tau phosphorylated at threonine 217 (p‐tau217) measured with fully automated platforms has shown high accuracy for Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnosis, but real‐world multicenter data remain limited. We aimed to validate the diagnostic performance of p‐tau217 for identifying AD pathology in a real‐world multicenter cohort ...

The non-perturbative QCD Debye mass from a Wilson line operator

open access: yes, 1999
Laine M, Philipsen O. The non-perturbative QCD Debye mass from a Wilson line operator. Physics Letters B. 1999;459(1-3):259-264.According to a proposal by Arnold and Yaffe, the non-perturbative g(2)T-contribution to the Debye mass in the deconfined QCD ...

Risk of Non‐Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy in Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Patients Treated with GLP‐1 Receptor Agonists

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Glucagon‐like peptide‐1 receptor agonists (GLP‐1 RAs) have demonstrated significant weight‐reducing effects and may offer benefits in idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH); however, recent concerns about the risk of non‐arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) have emerged.

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.

Three loop MS¯ anomalous dimension for renormalizable gauge invariant non-local gluon mass operator in QCD

open access: yes, 2009
The three loop anomalous dimension for the gauge invariant, renormalizable, non-local mass operator for a gluon is computed in the MS¯ scheme. In addition the anomalous dimensions of the associated localizing ghost fields are also deduced at the same ...

Spatial and Volumetric Characteristics of Glioblastoma: Associations With Clinical Presentation and Survival

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective We aim to comprehensively analyze how regional tumor and edema characteristics are associated with clinical presentations and survival outcomes in a large cohort of glioblastoma patients. Methods Patients with IDH‐wildtype glioblastoma who received brain MRI from 2010 to 2023 were included.
