Study of an actinomycin complex by mass spectrometry-mass spectrometry
Talanta, 1988The characterization of components within actinomycin complexes may often be complicated by the lack of material and standards of known actinomycins. Mass spectrometry-mass spectrometry can be employed both as a separatory device and as a means of structural analysis.

A double quadrupole for mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry
Analytica Chimica Acta, 1980Abstract A double quadrupole mass spectrometer has been constructed to study unimolecular and collision-induced dissociation products from mass-selected ions. The two quadrupoles are closely coupled and the dissociation products sampled from a 2.5-mm interquadrupole region.

Mass spectrometry in bacteriology
Annales de biologie clinique, 2015Recently, different bacteriological laboratory interventions that decrease reporting time have been developed. These promising new broad-based techniques have merit, based on their ability to identify rapidly many bacteria, organisms difficult to grow or newly emerging strains, as well as their capacity to track disease transmission.

This is the third fundamental review on the subject of atomic mass spectrometry. No longer just a mainstay technique of organic analysis, mass spectrometry is increasingly being rediscovered as the method of choice in many inorganic analysis situations.

Collision region for mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry
Analytical Chemistry, 1982Mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry is fast becoming a valuable analytical technique. An integtral part of this technique is the fragmentation of the parent ion. A large number of fragmentation pathways are supplied through the use of collision induced dissociations. Some typical designs of chambers for these collisions are presented. The efficiency of

Mass spectrometry of valepotriates
International Journal of Mass Spectrometry and Ion Physics, 1979The mass spectrometry of eight valepotriates and their derivatives has been investigated. Mass spectral fragmentation schemes have been proposed as well as the use of this fragmentation for structural elucidation. Structures of two valepotriates, acevaltrate and homoacevaltrate, have been clarified.

Diabetes and mass spectrometry
Diabetes/Metabolism Research and Reviews, 2001Mass spectrometry (MS) has been successfully employed to investigate non-enzymatic protein glycation, a process relevant in diabetic disease. The high sensitivity and specificity of this technique allowed the development of methods that can individuate and evaluate some glycation markers to be validly employed in monitoring diabetes.
