Charmonium: the mass spectrum

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Physics, 1981
The charmonium mass spectrum is evaluated using the oscillator potential as responsible for long range confinement. Hyperfine splittings for the color singlet [Formula: see text] system are discussed using various approaches. The mass of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are also briefly touched upon.

Imaging spectrum of mesenteric masses

Abdominal Radiology, 2020
Mesenteries are extensions of the visceral and parietal peritoneum consisting of fat, vessels, nerves, and lymphatics. Mesenteric masses have a wide differential diagnosis with neoplastic, infectious, or inflammatory etiologies and can either be solid or cystic. Imaging features are critical for the diagnosis.

On the normalization of a mass spectrum for comparison of two spectra

open access: yesJournal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry, 2004
It is indicated that for comparison of two mass-spectra the normalization of each ion current should be done such that each spectrum will form a unit vector, i.e., ΣXi2 = 1, where Xi are the various components of the mass ...

Relativistic ensembles and the mass spectrum

Physical Review D, 1982
We demonstrate here that the known results of the covariant formulation of relativistic statistical mechanics can be extended to include the mass degree of freedom as expressed by the exponential mass spectrum of the statistical models in high-energy physics.

Mass spectrum of the strange dibaryon

Physical Review D, 1988
Based on the diquark-cluster model, the mass spectrum of low-lying S=-1 strange dibaryons is predicted. In this scheme, two ${J}^{P}$${=0}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$ states with I=(1/2 and (3/2 are degenerate at the lowest-energy level, around 2.2 GeV c.m. energy.

Baryon Mass Spectrum

Physical Review, 1960
It is assumed that the $\ensuremath{\pi}$-baryon interactions are universal and the $K$-baryon interactions account for the large mass differences between baryons. If further all baryon spins are \textonehalf{} and $K$ spin is zero, ($\ensuremath{\Sigma}, \ensuremath{\Lambda}$) parity is even, the ($\ensuremath{\Sigma}, \ensuremath{\Lambda}$) mass ...
