Relationship between sleep bruxism and obstructive sleep apnoea: A population‐based survey
Abstract Objective Sleep bruxism (SB) and obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) seem to be mutually associated. This study investigates the relationship between current SB and OSA‐related symptoms and the difference in OSA‐related symptoms between groups based on a history of SB.

Benchmarking Optimization Software with Performance Profiles [PDF]
We propose performance profiles-distribution functions for a performance metric-as a tool for benchmarking and comparing optimization software. We show that performance profiles combine the best features of other tools for performance evaluation.

Ambulatory devices to detect sleep bruxism: a narrative review
Abstract Sleep bruxism is a masticatory muscle activity that occurs during sleep and presents as rhythmic or non‐rhythmic activities commonly seen in healthy individuals but might also represent movement or sleep disorders. Given that the clinical presentations of sleep bruxism are relevant to dentistry, the early detection of sleep bruxism is of ...

Tracing Optimization for Performance Modeling and Regression Detection [PDF]
Software performance modeling plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining software systems. A performance model analytically describes the relationship between the performance of a system and its runtime activities. This process typically examines various aspects of a system's runtime behavior, such as the execution frequency of functions or ...

Extension of Ashby's performance indexes in mixed tension-bending solicitation [PDF]
Ashby's performance indexes are a fundamental tool for material selection especially for structures lightening. Unfortunately the indexes are available only for simple mechanical solicitation as pure bending or pure tension. For real applications, it is required to have a performance index for combined solicitations.

Exploring the Link Between Headache, Possible Sleep Bruxism and Self‐Medication in Adolescents
ABSTRACT Aim Adolescents predominantly suffer from headaches and sleep bruxism. Yet, the association between both conditions remains unclear. This study investigated the relationship between primary headaches and possible sleep bruxism in adolescents. Methods A cross‐sectional study was conducted from August 24 to October 13, 2022, with 567 adolescents

Lithic analysis in African archaeology: Advances and key themes
Abstract Stone artifacts (lithics) preserve for extended periods; thus they are key evidence for probing the evolution of human technological behaviors. Africa boasts the oldest record of stone artifacts, spanning 3.3 Ma, rare instances of ethnographic stone tool‐making, and stone tool archives from diverse ecological settings, making it an anchor for ...
