A transition zone enriched WIF1+ basal cell subtype is associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, EarlyView.
Abstract The cellular composition and disease susceptibilities of the distinct zones of the human prostate remain incompletely understood. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common condition that causes widespread morbidity and is nearly exclusively localized to the transition zone (TZ).

Differential FGFR1 copy number status displays unique tumour immune microenvironment in triple‐negative breast cancer

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, EarlyView.
Abstract Fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1) amplification, a significant cancer alteration with both prognostic and therapeutic relevance, lacks a standardized definition. The relationship between FGFR1 copy number (CN) variations and tumour microenvironment (TME) characteristics also remains poorly understood.

Allergen‐Functionalized Microfluidic Immunoadsorption Platform for Selective Depletion of Peanut‐Specific Antibodies From Whole Blood

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
We present a microfluidic immunoadsorption platform functionalized with a layer‐by‐layer (LbL) nanofilm composed of poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) and protein extract (PE) for selective capture of peanut‐specific antibodies directly from the whole blood obtained from a peanut allergy mouse model.

Dehydrocostus Lactone Suppresses Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Inhibiting Protein Tyrosine Kinase‐7 Mediated β‐Catenin Signaling

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, EarlyView.
Schematic summary of the experimentally supported mechanism of DHL in hepatocellular carcinoma. Dehydrocostus lactone (DHL), a sesquiterpene lactone derived from Aucklandia lappa, directly engages protein tyrosine kinase 7 (PTK7), as supported by molecular docking, CETSA, and DARTS assays.
