Evaluation of the MASW technique in unconsolidated sediments

Shear (S) wave velocities derived from the MASW (multi-channel analysis of surface wave) technique and borehole measurements at seven well locations in unconsolidated sediments of the Fraser River Delta are compared. The overall difference between these two sets of S-wave velocities is about 15%.
