This study presents the charge injection and transport properties of field‐effect transistors based on an isoindigo‐bithiophene donor‐acceptor polymer semiconductor contacted with thiolated self‐assembled monolayer (SAM)‐functionalized electrodes. Hybrid networks combining natural and synthetic polymers into one network may result in networks with good bioactivity, suitable mechanical properties, and high control over degradation. The Leidenfrost phenomenon helps in reducing nanoparticle agglomeration in aerosol‐assisted plasma deposition of nanocomposite thin films. Conversely, the plasma sheath could act as an electrostatic filter preventing the smallest droplets from reaching the substrate.
