Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

The right information may matter more than frequency-place alignment: Simulations of frequency-aligned and upward shifting cochlear implant processors for a shallow electrode array insertion [PDF]
Objective: It has been claimed that speech recognition with a cochlear implant is dependent on the correct frequency alignment of analysis bands in the speech processor with characteristic frequencies (CFs) at electrode locations.

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

On TDE techniques for the radar signal
The time-delay estimation (TDE) arises in many applications, especially in radar signal processing. In this study, different TDE techniques are considered based on well-known approaches such as classical matched filter, multiple signal classification ...

Coherent detection method for maneuvering target with complex motions
In this study, a coherent detection method is proposed to solve the problems during the coherent integration (CI) process, including the range cell migration (RCM) and Doppler spread (DS) effects which are caused by the complex motions of the maneuvering

Low-complexity high-performance GFSK receiver with carrier frequency offset correction [PDF]
This paper presents an implementation of a GFSK receiver based on matched filtering of a sequence of K successive bits. This enables improved detection and superior BER performance but requires 2K matched filters of considerable complexity.
