Optimizing Patient‐Reported Outcome Measurement in an Inflammatory Bowel Disease Care Pathway: Results of the PROMOTION Study

PROM completion rates in IBD remained largely unchanged after a single patient empowerment intervention, despite a significant short‐term increase immediately after implementation. Sustained and tailored engagement efforts are required to achieve lasting improvements in patient participation and PROM‐based disease monitoring.
