Evaluation method of regional material balance on Japanese prefectures.

日本全国の都道府県単位で, 産業構成に着目した物資フロー分析を行い, 循環型社会構築に向けた物質循環評価を試みた. 全国平均では, 1円の生産額に対して約1gの廃棄物を発生させる評価結果となったが, 都道府県ごとに見ると, 1円の生産に対して0.4gの廃棄物発生で済む地域から2g以上の廃棄物を発生させる地域まで, 大きなばらつきがあった. 第2次産業における業種間比較まで踏み込んだ分析を行った結果, GDPや生産額等の経済効用指標を組み込んだ物質投入や廃棄物発生を評価することにより, 地域 (都道府県) 単位で循環を評価する場合と, さらに産業単位に分類して評価する場合に分けながら, 物質循環指標のあり方を提示することができた.
