Targeting CXCR2 in Nociceptive Sensory Neurons Offers Novel Therapeutic Potentials for Postoperative Pain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tissue incision induces CXCL5 release, which activates neuronal CXCR2 on incision‐innervating sensory neurons. Neuronal CXCR2 couples with TRPA1 to drive mechanical pain and engages p38 MAPK signaling to upregulate TRPV1 and promote heat pain. Targeted Cxcr2 knockdown relieves incisional pain while preserving CXCR2‐dependent neutrophil responses ...

Anomalous Enhancement in MXene‐Based Electrochemical Actuators: Pseudo‐Capacitance‐Induced Multi‐Charge Accumulation in Confined Space

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We elucidate the electrochemical actuation mechanism of 2D material‐based electrodes within a MXene‐centered framework, linking atomic‐scale surface chemistry to macroscopic performance (see schematic). Mechanistically, the reduction of Ti─O─Ti sites in H2SO4 triggers the accumulation of hydrated ions at confined active sites, resulting in anomalous ...

MetaboSense: An Integrated Quantum Dot‐Mediated Aptamer Assay and Modular Microfluidic Platform for Continuous In‐Line Monitoring of Lung Metabolism During Ex Vivo Perfusion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MetaboSense is a first‐of‐its‐kind microfluidic platform enabling continuous, in‐line monitoring of glucose and lactate during ex vivo lung perfusion. Combining a quantum dot–mediated aptamer assay with mixing, depletion, and optofluidic detection modules, it achieves 60–s temporal resolution and shows strong agreement with standard blood gas analyzers,

Enhancing Near‐Room‐Temperature Thermoelectric Performance of n‐Type Mg3(Sb, Bi)2‐Based Materials via ZrB2 Heterointerface Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conductive ZrB2 ceramic composite strategy was developed for Mg3(Sb, Bi)2 thermoelectrics to regulate carrier transport and phonon scattering through heterointerface engineering. The 1.0 wt.% ZrB2 composite achieved enhanced room‐temperature performance, with a power factor of 28.51 µW cm−1 K−2 and a peak ZT of 1.22 at 573 K.

Hydrogen‐Bond Enabled Phosphite Based Intrinsic Flame‐Retardant Solid‐Solid Phase Change Materials Using Catalyst/Solvent‐Free Multi‐Component Reaction for Battery Thermal Management

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The phosphite group endows intrinsic flame retardancy, while the P = O bond enhances intermolecular interactions to realize solid‐solid phase transition. Battery thermal management tests show the materials extend the safe working time of lithium‐ion batteries by 200%. Cone calorimeter tests indicate a 14s delay in ignition time, and reductions of 37.6%,

USP30‐Mediated Deubiquitination of PEX5 Suppresses Pexophagy to Drive Tubular Injury in Diabetic Kidney Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
USP30 accumulation in diabetic renal tubular epithelial cells deubiquitinates PEX5, suppresses pexophagy, and drives dysfunctional peroxisome accumulation and tubular injury. USP30 depletion restores PEX5 ubiquitination and pexophagy, improves peroxisomal function, and alleviates tubular damage, highlighting USP30 as a therapeutic target in diabetic ...

A Decoy‐Receptor‐Armed Biomimetic Nanotherapeutic With Inherent Tropism for Conserved Pathogenic Macrophages for Treating Osteoarthritis and Intervertebral Disc Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic doppelgänger nanosystem neutralizes extracellular inflammatory cytokines and silences intracellular pyroptosis, reprogramming pathogenic macrophages to attenuate both joint and spine degeneration. ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) and intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) are debilitating musculoskeletal disorders driven by shared ...

METODOLOGÍA DE DISEÑO PARA MATERIALES GRANULARES ESTABILIZADOS CON EMULSIÓN ASFÁLTICA

open access: yes, 2018
