Intralitter Variability Influences the Developmental Impact of Valproic Acid Exposure in CD‐1 Mice

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Valproic acid (VPA) is an antiepileptic and mood‐stabilizing drug that causes teratogenic effects, including neural tube defects (NTDs), when taken during pregnancy. From PICU to NICU: Extrapolating Meropenem Exposure From Pediatric to Neonatal Intensive Care Patients

open access: yesThe Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Abstract We previously developed a population pharmacokinetic (PopPK) model for meropenem in pediatric intensive care unit patients accounting for effect of body size, maturation, and kidney function on clearance. This study aimed to extrapolate meropenem exposure to neonates and young infants using the pediatric PopPK model and to validate the ...

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, Volume 53, Issue 3, Page 535-546, March/April 2025.
This meta‐analysis demonstrates the high diagnostic accuracy of SZ‐CEUS for differentiating between malignant and benign focal liver lesions, as well as for HCC from non‐HCC lesions. The study shows better performance for smaller lesions and those with a higher proportion of malignancy.
