An Investigation of Coiled Tubing Operators' Risk Perception Using Signal Detection Theory

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Fig. 1. Receivers cannot directly observe the source's output. Information must be processed through personal perception and reasoning, leading to biased decisions due to individual differences. Fig. 2. Experienced operators (5+ years) apply more lenient criteria than less experienced ones during tasks, though their safety systems show conservative ...

Evaluation of Electric Vehicle Retrofitting Challenges Through a Design, Operation, and Charging Infrastructure Assessment Framework

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
After fitting in the three‐wheeled vehicle, the motor was tested in no‐load conditions. The power was taken from the battery bank. The voltage regulator was used to increase the voltage, which eventually increases the motor rotations per minute. The voltages and amperes under the no‐load conditions of the motor were measured.
