Collective Attestation for Manageable IoT Environments

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
The swarm attestation methods have been proposed to detect illegitimate modifications in a large network efficiently. However, they do not provide the scalable identification of detected devices, which is critical to keep a swarm network trustworthy in ...

Quantum Dots and Perovskites‐Based Physically Unclonable Functions for Binary and Ternary Keys via Optical‐to‐Electrical Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates optoelectronic PUFs that improve on traditional optical and electrical PUFs. The absorber materials are randomly coated through spray coating, ligand exchange, and dynamic spin coating. Incident light generates wavelength‐dependent binary multikey and enhances security ternary keys, approaching near‐ideal inter‐ and intra ...

Reservoir‐Type Subcutaneous Implantable Devices Containing Porous Rate Controlling Membranes for Sustained Delivery of Risperidone

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel implantable drug delivery systemwith a biodegradable poly(caprolactone) membrane and compressed drug core forsustained release. These implantable devices deliver risperidone in vitro for 170 days and in vivo for 49 days in rats, showing promise for chronic conditions like schizophrenia.

Entire solutions for a delayed lattice competitive system

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
In this paper, we investigate the existence of entire solutions for a delayed lattice competitive system. Here the entire solutions are the solutions that exist for all (n,t)∈Z×R $(n,t)\in \mathbb{Z}\times \mathbb{R}$. In order to prove the existence, we

Fractional processes as models in stochastic finance [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2010
We survey some new progress on the pricing models driven by fractional Brownian motion \cb{or} mixed fractional Brownian motion. In particular, we give results on arbitrage opportunities, hedging, and option pricing in these models. We summarize some recent results on fractional Black & Scholes pricing model with transaction costs.

Mastering Proton Activities in Aqueous Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Advanced aqueous batteries are promising alternatives for grid energy storage. Understanding and mastering the proton activities in aqueous electrolytes will guide the design of sustainable and long‐lasting aqueous batteries. This Perspective comments on the current understanding of the thermodynamic and kinetic perspectives of proton activities and ...

Retarded action principle and self-financing portfolio dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
We derive a consistent differential representation for the dynamics of a self-financing portfolio for different hedging strategies. In the basis of the derivation there is the so called "retarded action principle", which represents the causality in the evolution of dependent stochastic variables.

Adsorption and Separation by Flexible MOFs

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) present significant potential for gas storage and separation due to their structural dynamic. This review explores the rationale behind the flexible MOFs' enhanced working capacity and separation factors. It also addresses key challenges, including phase transition kinetics, crystal robustness, cycling, shaping,
