Saturated Models in Mathematical Fuzzy Logic [PDF]

open access: yes2018 IEEE 48th International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic (ISMVL), 2018
This paper considers the problem of building saturated models for first-order graded logics. We define types as pairs of sets of formulas in one free variable which express properties that an element is expected, respectively, to satisfy and to falsify. We show, by means of an elementary chains construction, that each model can be elementarily extended

Pemodelan Sistem Fuzzy dengan Menggunakan Matlab [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Fuzzy logic is a method in soft computing category, a method that could process uncertain, inaccurate, and less cost implemented data. Some methods in soft computing category besides fuzzy logic are artificial network nerve, probabilistic reasoning, and ...

COMPARATIVE STUDY OF FUZZY MATHEMATICS AS FUZZY SETS AND FUZZY LOGICS

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Sciences & Computational Mathematics, 2021
Fuzzy mathematics is considered to be an important aspect in the field of mathematics that interprets the uncertainties and deals with the unreliable information and vagueness of data. In this chapter we shall discuss the concept of fuzzy mathematics as fuzzy set and fuzzy logics and the beginning of fuzzy set theory and the fuzzy logics with their ...

Assessing Students’ Mathematical Knowledge with Fuzzy Logic

open access: yesEducation Sciences, 2022
Assessing student mathematical knowledge is an important factor in the mathematics learning process because students obtain important feedback to improve their knowledge and learning. Despite the importance of student assessment, several researchers have shown that student grades comprise noncognitive and metacognitive factors and teachers’ prejudices ...

Mathematical Fuzzy Logics

open access: yesBulletin of Symbolic Logic, 2008
AbstractThe last decade has seen an enormous development in infinite-valued systems and in particular in such systems which have become known as mathematical fuzzy logics. The paper discusses the mathematical background for the interest in such systems of mathematical fuzzy logics, as well as the most important ones of them.

From fuzzy logic to fuzzy mathematics: A methodological manifesto

open access: yesFuzzy Sets and Systems, 2006
The paper states the problem of fragmentation of contemporary fuzzy mathematics and the need of a unified methodology and formalism. We formulate several guidelines based on Hajek's methodology in fuzzy logic, which enable us to follow closely the constructions and methods of classical mathematics recast in a fuzzy setting.
