Copper sulfide based electrocatalysts for CO2 conversion are selective for production of formate as major product. Transformations under electrochemical conditions result in significant sulfur loss, and this study examines the nature of how persistent, residual sulfur (observed as surface SO42– species and S dissolved in the electrolyte) can sustain ...

Direct Ink Writing of Conductive Hydrogels
This review examines the use of direct ink writing (DIW) for fabricating conductive hydrogels with customizable 3D structures. It outlines the rheological requirements for successful DIW, followed by an exploration of the materials and ink formulations used to impart electronic and/or ionic conductivity to hydrogels while maintaining printability ...

Lattice Multiverse Models [PDF]
Will the cosmological multiverse, when described mathematically, have easily stated properties that are impossible to prove or disprove using mathematical physics? We explore this question by constructing lattice multiverses which exhibit such behavior even though they are much simpler mathematically than any likely cosmological multiverse.

Internal Temperature Evolution Metrology and Analytics in Li‐Ion Cells
This study investigates the non‐linear evolution of internal temperatures across diverse operating conditions, highlighting the disparities between internal and external measurements and the resulting thermal asymmetries. The coupled thermo‐electrochemical modeling framework provides a comprehensive analysis of various heat generation modes, examining ...

Mathematical and Physical Papers [PDF]
EVERY one interested in the study of physics of the more profound kind will welcome this collection of essays by the celebrated natural philosopher, so many of which, hitherto scattered throughout various periodicals, difficult to gather together, or even wholly inaccessible to readers out of the reach of large public libraries, are yet of decisive ...

Carbon nanomembranes with ultra‐thin Al2O3 functionalization are less than 15 nm thin and exhibit outstanding permeation performance with a water vapor/nitrogen selectivity higher than 1 × 104, twice that of pristine CNMs, and an exceptionally high water vapor permeation rate for potential applications in air dehumidification.
