Basic Problems of Mathematics and Physics
2009We know that an attempt to explain all concepts can hardly be called scientific. Some concepts require acceptance without explanation. Whatever, we the scientists say, is expressed in terms of limited and approximate descriptions, which are improved in successive steps. We progress from truth to truth and from lesser truth to higher truth.

On a New Problem of Mathematical Physics
2006We consider a system of partial differential equations that is not a Kovalevskaya system. The Cauchy problem and the mixed problem in a smooth domain are studied. We prove the existence of a solution in a Hilbert space H and the continuous dependence on the initial conditions. The Cauchy problem in an unbounded space is solved explicitly.

Problems in Mathematical Physics (With Solutions)
Physics Bulletin, 1966I. V. Misyurkeyev Maidenhead: McGraw-Hill. 1966. Pp. ix + 144. Price 24s. The student of mathematical physics generally does not lack problems to solve. Many of the books which he will use in his courses will contain an adequate selection of exercises which have the merit of direct relevance to his current studies.

Boundary Value Problems of Mathematical Physics
1998The goal of this final chapter is to show how the boundary value problems of mathematical physics can be solved by the methods of the preceding chapters. This will be done by solving a variety of specific problems that illustrate the principal types of problems that were formulated in Chapter 7.
