Print‐and‐Plate Architected Electrodes for Electrochemical Transformations Under Flow
Typical flow cell electrodes are composed of stochastic porous carbon, limiting understanding of electrode structure‐performance relationships. This work describes an approach, termed “print‐and‐plate,” to prepare porous electrodes by direct ink writing followed by conformal metal coating.

Using atomic structure and local stability information, recombinant aciniform spider silk proteins are rationally engineered to incorporate a chemically switchable disulfide bond to prevent fiber formation. When disulfide‐locked, these proteins cannot form continuous fibers, whereas the unlocked (reduced) state can.

3D Bimetallic Platinum‐Nickel Electrodes for Electro‐Oxidation of Glycerol at Ambient Conditions
This study presents a Ni foam electrode with Pt nanodendrites for glycerol oxidation, achieving 235 mA cm−2 at 0.92 V versus RHE and >92% C3 selectivity, including 64% lactic acid. This study presents an innovative in vitro model of a human left ventricle using biofunctionalized PDMS membranes and human iPSC‐derived cardiomyocytes. The engineered ventricle demonstrates stable, long‐term pulsatile flow, and physiological responses to cardioactive drugs.
