Inorganic Dielectric Materials Coupling Micro‐/Nanoarchitectures for State‐of‐the‐Art Biomechanical‐to‐Electrical Energy Conversion Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Biomechanical‐to‐electrical energy conversion devices are uniquely suited for self‐driven physiological information monitoring and powering human–computer interaction systems. These devices based on micro‐/nanoarchitectured inorganic dielectric materials (MNIDMs) have shown ultrahigh electromechanical performance and thus great potential for practical ...

Taylor expansions of R-transforms, application to supports and moments

open access: yes, 2006
We prove that a probability measure on the real line has a moment of order p (even integer), if and only if its R-transform admits a Taylor expansion with p terms. We also prove a weaker version of this result when p is odd.

Multi‐Agent‐Network‐Based Idea Generator for Zinc‐Ion Battery Electrolyte Discovery: A Case Study on Zinc Tetrafluoroborate Hydrate‐Based Deep Eutectic Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An LLM‐based multi‐agent network screens academic literature to propose multiple environmentally friendly aqueous deep eutectic electrolytes for zinc‐ion batteries. Experiments identify an optimal composition of Zn(BF4)2·xH2O and ethylene carbonate, which shows high conductivity and cycling stability.

Measurement: everywhere and nowhere in secondary mathematics

open access: yes, 2010
School mathematics is commonly structured into number, algebra, geometry and statistics. This raises the issue of where to place ideas within the topic of measurement since some aspects of measurement (such as measuring length or area) have a geometrical

Spectroelectrochemical Analysis of Oxygen Evolution by Nickel Hydroxide: Role of Oxygen Vacancies, Charge Transfer, and Silk Fibroin

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Silk fibroin enhances the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) on Ni(OH)₂ catalysts by stabilizing oxygen vacancies and promoting charge transfer. Operando spectroelectrochemical analyses reveal a Mars–van Krevelen‐type mechanism involving lattice oxygen and superoxide intermediates.

Mathematical Foundations of Probability Theory

open access: yes, 2018
In the footsteps of the book \textit{Measure Theory and Integration By and For the Learner} of our series in Probability Theory and Statistics, we intended to devote a special volume of the very probabilistic aspects of the first cited theory. The book might have assigned the title : From Measure Theory and Integration to Probability Theory.
