Good Integers: A Structural Review With Applications to Polynomial Factorization and Algebraic Coding Theory

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
For nonzero coprime integers a and b, a positive integer l is said to be good with respect to a and b if there exists a positive integer k such that l divides ak + bk. Since the early 1990s, the notion of good integers has attracted considerable attention from researchers. This continued interest stems from both their elegant number‐theoretic structure

Study of (p, q)‐Symmetric Starlike Functions of Order η

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In the field of geometric function theory, we use the (p, q)‐differential operator in the complex unit disk to describe a novel class Sp,q∗∗η of symmetrical starlike functions of order η. Several interesting properties of functions belonging to the class Sp,q∗∗η are examined, such as growth, distortion, and convolution characteristics.

Topological Aspects of Quadratic Graphs and M‐Polynomials Utilizing Classes of Finite Quasigroups

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Material science, drug design and toxicology studies, which relate a molecule’s structure to its numerous properties and activities, are studied with the use of the topological index. Graphs with finite algebraic structure find extensive applications in fields such as mathematics, elliptic curve cryptography, physics, robotics and information theory ...

Exploring Graph Product Operations Through Eccentricity Connectivity Coindex: A Comprehensive QSPR Analysis of Octane Isomers

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this article, the first eccentricity connectivity coindex is introduced as ECI¯G=∑uv∉EGε2u+ε2v, in which ε(u) denotes the eccentricity of the vertex u in the simple connected graph G. Then, the exact expressions are obtained for the first eccentricity connectivity coindex of some graph products.

Exact Solitary Wave Solutions in Nonlinear Carbon Nanotube Composite Beams on Viscoelastic Foundations Under M‐Truncated Derivative

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this study, the nonlinear partial differential equation that governs the free vibration of a carbon nanotube composite beam is analytically investigated using the truncated M‐fractional derivative. This model is a beam supported by a nonlinear viscoelastic base and reinforced by carbon nanotubes.

Efficient and Accurate Computation of Arbitrary‐Order Eigenpair Sensitivities Using Hypercomplex Automatic Differentiation

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 126, Issue 24, 30 December 2025.
ABSTRACT Eigenvalue and eigenvector sensitivities with respect to design parameters are crucial for advancing design, optimization, and uncertainty quantification in structural systems. This paper introduces a novel, efficient, and general numerical method for computing arbitrary‐order sensitivities of eigenpairs in self‐adjoint undamped and ...

MATHEMATICAL FUNDAMENTALS OF ALGEBRAIC LATTICIES AND THEIR APPLICATION IN QUANTUM CRYPTOLOGY

open access: yes
The ongoing development of quantum computers threatens state-of-the-art public key cryptographic schemes, such as discrete logarithm factorization key generation schemes, digital signatures, and elliptic curve cryptography. It is necessary to develop new cryptographic algorithms capable of resisting the attacks of quantum computers.
