A Perspective on the Origin of High‐Entropy Solid Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This perspective critically examines HE approaches in SEs, highlighting how compositional complexity induces system disorder and local‐structure evolution to enhance stability and properties. While HE concepts are attractive, establishing rigorous structure‐property relationships requires further investigation.

On‐Chip Active Non‐Reciprocal Topological Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An ultra‐compact and efficient on‐chip isolator is experimentally demonstrated by integrating magneto‐optical InSb onto a terahertz silicon topological chip. The simultaneous breaking of spatial and temporal reversal symmetries forms a valley‐conserved non‐reciprocal waveguide mode, enabling a compact cavity size of 6.4 × 2.5λ2 and a low insertion loss

Multi‐Agent‐Network‐Based Idea Generator for Zinc‐Ion Battery Electrolyte Discovery: A Case Study on Zinc Tetrafluoroborate Hydrate‐Based Deep Eutectic Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An LLM‐based multi‐agent network screens academic literature to propose multiple environmentally friendly aqueous deep eutectic electrolytes for zinc‐ion batteries. Experiments identify an optimal composition of Zn(BF4)2·xH2O and ethylene carbonate, which shows high conductivity and cycling stability.

Synthetic Chromatophores for Color and Pattern Morphing Skins

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Cephalopods use chromatophore organs (muscle‐actuated pigment sacs) to alter their skin color and pattern. Synthetic chromatophores, which closely mimic the mechano‐optical process found in cephalopods using stimuli‐responsive microscale hydrogel actuators, are reported.

Rational Development of a Novel Emulgel Adjuvant for Single‐Shot Effective Vaccination: A Multivariate Analysis Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Using multivariate analysis, a novel emulgel adjuvant is developed by combining key nanoemulsion formulation variables–hydrogel trapping, small globule size, and mannide monooleate surfactant–achieving 10× greater immunogenicity than MF59 in mice after a single shot.

Interaction of Oligonucleotides with Gold Nanoparticles: Factors Beyond Electrostatic and Van‐Der Waals Forces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The formation of stable clusters of gold nanoparticles with oligonucleotides at different solution conditions is explored. DNA base homogeneity and strand directionality influence the binding with gold nanoparticles leading to interesting clustering behavior that can be relevant for SERS applications.

Multi‐Scale Modeling of a 3D Soft Magnetoelectric Patch for Wireless Nerve Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Core‐shell, magnetoelectric nanoparticles (MENPs) can serve as wireless electric nano‐sources, thanks to their ability to generate high levels of electricity, when stimulated by a human‐safe external magnetic field. By combining MENPs with soft, biocompatible polymeric matrices and optimizing its composite configuration and electrical behavior via ...

Mathematical Representation of Einstein's Theory Related to Quantum Physics With Just One Graph

open access: yes, 2020
This paper presents the Theory of relativity and its coupling with quantum physics using the equations set by Einstein, Planck, and de Broglie. Using the Lorentz factor, known as the cosine function, we construct a graph that fully correspond to Einstein's Theory of relativity and relates it to quantum physics. This connection is made using a sine rule
