Entanglement of A Qubit‐Qutrit System: Impact of Ohmic Noise

ABSTRACT This research examines the dynamics of quantum correlations in a hybrid qubit–qutrit system subjected to an Ohmic noisy environment. While entanglement degradation in homogeneous systems is well‐documented, the behavior of disparate‐dimensional interfaces remains a critical challenge for the interoperability of future quantum networks.

Unexpected Oxidation of Co Nanoparticles Under H2: X‐Ray‐Induced Water Radiolysis in NAP‐XPS Studies

Near‐ambient pressure X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (NAP‐XPS) was used to study cobalt nanoparticles supported on SiO2/Si under H2 atmospheres. Despite reducing conditions, beam‐induced oxidation was observed and attributed to X‐ray‐driven radiolysis of trace water in the analysis chamber.
