Analysis of Initial Reactions of MALDI Based on Chemical Properties of Matrixes and Excitation Condition

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2012
This investigation concerns the initial chemical reactions that affect the ionization of matrixes in matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI). The study focuses on the relaxations of photon energy that occur on a comparable time scale to that of ionization, in which the available laser energy is shared and the ionization condition is changed.

Microwave-assisted retting and optimization of the process through chemical composition analysis of the matrix

Industrial Crops and Products, 2014
Abstract Pre-soaked flax stems were subjected to microwave assisted retting at different power levels and the effectiveness of microwave assisted retting was studied through the analysis of chemical compounds presented in the retted flax fibers processed from the stems. Response surface statistical design was used for this study with JMP® 10 software.

Chemical state analysis of ZnO/Ag film interface utilizing the matrix effect

Applied Surface Science, 2003
Abstract The degree of oxidization of Ag in the interface of ZnO/Ag has been investigated by utilizing the matrix effect. We monitored various secondary ions (Ag+, CsAg+, Ag−, AgO−) under Cs+ bombardment during the depth profile analysis. It was found that Ag+, Ag−, AgO− secondary ions exhibited a characteristic enhancement of secondary ion yield due

A methodology for equation-based analysis of large chemical processes using the functional matrix

Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering, 1987
The equation-based approach to process analysis is necessary for efficient optimization of large and complex processes, and involves the problem of solving a large number of equations. To complement this approach, an improved equation-solving system using the functional matrix suggested by Mattione, Meir and Book was developed, and its capacity for the

Chemical interferences in atomic absorption spectrometric analysis of silicates in the fluoboric—Boric acids matrix

Chemical Geology, 1975
Abstract The atomic absorption spectrometric determinations of iron, calcium, and magnesium in the fluoboric-boric acids matrix are seriously interfered by the presence of silicon and aluminum. These interferences can be overcome by preparing the standard solutions of magnesium, calcium, and iron with silicon and aluminum concentrations matching ...
