Chemical state analysis of ZnO/Ag film interface utilizing the matrix effect

Applied Surface Science, 2003
Abstract The degree of oxidization of Ag in the interface of ZnO/Ag has been investigated by utilizing the matrix effect. We monitored various secondary ions (Ag+, CsAg+, Ag−, AgO−) under Cs+ bombardment during the depth profile analysis. It was found that Ag+, Ag−, AgO− secondary ions exhibited a characteristic enhancement of secondary ion yield due

E.s.c.a. (electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis) Analysis) study of monomodal metal phases in a faujasite X matrix

Zeolites, 1982
A series of faujasite supported catalysts with monomodal dispersed phases of nickel, palladium, and platinum, exhibiting narrow particle size distributions, are chracterized by X.p.s. (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy).

Structural and dynamics analysis of matrix metalloproteinases MMP-2 complexed with chemically modified tetracyclines (CMTs)

Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics, 2013
Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) play a critical role in physiological processes and pathological conditions such tumor invasion and metastasis. In recent years, a number of MMP inhibitors have been proposed, including the chemically modified tetracyclines (CMTs), which have been evaluated in preclinical cancer models showing promising results.

Analysis of Initial Reactions of MALDI Based on Chemical Properties of Matrixes and Excitation Condition

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2012
This investigation concerns the initial chemical reactions that affect the ionization of matrixes in matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI). The study focuses on the relaxations of photon energy that occur on a comparable time scale to that of ionization, in which the available laser energy is shared and the ionization condition is changed.

The C-matrix: Augmentation and reduction in the analysis of chemical composition and structure

Chemical Engineering Science, 2014
Abstract We propose a unified linear-algebraic approach that allows determining the three key matrices of chemical kinetics: molecular, stoichiometric and Horiuti matrix, all within a single procedure. This procedure is based on calculating a so called C-matrix, which is obtained from each matrix by augmenting it with a unit matrix and then reducing ...
