Solution‐Processed Two‐Dimensional Indium Oxide on Sodium‐Embedded Alumina for Reconfigurable Optoelectronic Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance

The Q1-matrix completion problem

open access: yesMalaya Journal of Matematik, 2018
A matrix is a $Q_1$-matrix if it is a $Q$-matrix with positive diagonal entries. A digraph $D$ is said to have $Q_1$-completion if every partial $Q_1$-matrix specifying $D$ can be completed to a $Q_1$-matrix. In this paper, necessary and sufficient conditions for a digraph to have $Q_1$-completion are obtained.

Machine Learning‐Assisted Inverse Design of Soft and Multifunctional Hybrid Liquid Metal Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A machine learning framework is presented for inverse design of synthesizable multifunctional composites containing both liquid metal and solid inclusions. By integrating physics‐based modeling, data‐driven prediction, and Bayesian optimization, the approach enables intelligent design of experiments to identify optimal compositions and realize these ...

A connection between positive semidefinite and euclidean distance matrix completion problems

open access: yes, 1998
The positive semidefinite and Euclidean distance matrix completion problems have received a lot of attention in the literature. Results have been obtained for these two problems that are very similar in their formulations.

Graded‐Interface Dual‐Environment Hydrogel‐Polymer Electrolyte for Stabilized Anode and Sustained Cathode Kinetics in Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A graded‐interface hydrogel‐polymer electrolyte decouples water activity to simultaneously stabilize the Zn anode and sustain cathode kinetics. The flexible design supports dendrite‐free cycling over 1600 h, high capacity in both MnO2 and V2O5 full cells, and stable pouch‐cell performance under bending, resolving the fundamental water conflict in ...

Convergence Analysis and Bilevel Optimization Algorithms for Matrix Completion Problems

open access: yes, 2021
The soft SVD is a robust matrix decomposition algorithm and a key component of matrix completion methods. However, computing the soft SVD for large sparse matrices is often impractical using conventional numerical methods for the SVD due to large memory

Plug-and-play low-rank tensor completion and reconstruction algorithms with improved applicability of tensor decompositions

open access: yesFrontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
In this paper, we propose a new unified optimization algorithm for general tensor completion and reconstruction problems, which is formulated as an inverse problem for low-rank tensors in general linear observation models. The proposed algorithm supports

Unraveling the Electronic Structure of Silicon Vacancy Centers in 4H‐SiC

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The electronic structure of the silicon vacancy in 4H‐SiC is probed via transient absorption spectroscopy, uncovering previously inaccessible excited states of the quartet and doublet spin channels, including the V2' transition. In combination with theoretical analysis, a comprehensive picture of the electronic structure is established.
