Fixed Point Results for C-Contractive Mappings in Generalized Metric Spaces with a Graph

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2021
In this paper, we establish fixed point theorems for Chatterjea contraction mappings on a generalized metric space endowed with a graph. Our results extend, generalize, and improve many of existing theorems in the literature.

Additivity of nonlinear higher anti-derivable mappings on generalized matrix algebras

open access: yesElectronic Research Archive, 2023
In this article, we proved that each nonlinear higher anti-derivable mapping on generalized matrix algebras is automatically additive. As for its applications, we find a similar conclusion on triangular algebras, full matrix algebras, unital prime rings ...

Maps Preserving Idempotence on Matrix Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2015
SupposeFis an arbitrary field. Let|F|be the number of the elements ofF. LetMn(F)be the space of alln×nmatrices overF, letSn(F)be the subset ofMn(F)consisting of all symmetric matrices, and letTn(F)be the subset ofMn(F)consisting of all upper-triangular matrices.

The New Hahn Sequence Space via $(p,q)$-Calculus

open access: yesCommunications in Advanced Mathematical Sciences
In this paper, a novel generalized Hahn sequence space, denoted as $h(C(p,q))$, is introduced by utilizing the $(p, q)$-Cesaro matrix. Fundamental properties of this sequence space, such as its completeness and inclusion relations with other well-known ...

Pasting and Reversing Approach to Matrix Theory

open access: yes, 2016
The aim of this paper is to study some aspects of matrix theory through Pasting and Reversing. We start giving a summary of previous results concerning to Pasting and Reversing over vectors and matrices, after we rewrite such properties of Pasting and ...

The Method of almost convergence with operator of the form fractional order and applications

open access: yes, 2016
The purpose of this paper is twofold. First, basic concepts such as Gamma function, almost convergence, fractional order difference operator and sequence spaces are given as a survey character.

Matrix factorizations and pentagon maps

open access: yesProceedings of the Royal Society A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 2023
We propose a specific class of matrices that participate in factorization problems that turn out to be equivalent to constant and entwining (non-constant) pentagon, reverse-pentagon or Yang–Baxter maps, expressed in non-commutative variables. In detail, we show that factorizations of order N

Exploring the $ q $-analogue of Fibonacci sequence spaces associated with $ c $ and $ c_0 $

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
We have proposed a $ q $-analogue $ c(\mathcal{F}(q)) $ and $ c_0(\mathcal{F}(q)) $ of Fibonacci sequence spaces, where $\mathcal{F}(q) = (f^q_{km})$ denotes a $ q $-Fibonacci matrix defined in the following manner: \begin{document}$ f^q_{km ...

On the ubiquity of the Cauchy distribution in spectral problems

open access: yes, 2014
We consider the distribution of the values at real points of random functions which belong to the Herglotz-Pick (HP) class of analytic mappings of the upper half plane into itself.
